Summer Program Guide
With just three weeks to completely redesign a 28-page document, my counterpart and I quickly divided the workload and transformed a text-heavy Word file into a visually engaging communication tool for members.

The Summer Program Guide at Kalamazoo Country Club is the key resource for keeping members informed about the upcoming season. Originally a Word document that made finding information a challenge, we transformed it into a polished catalog that leadership is proud to share with members.
Week 1: Gather Info + Align on Design Direction
Met with the Kalamazoo Country Club team to understand the current document and discuss their vision for the redesign.
Collected final information and photos from department leaders so all content was up-to-date and accurate.
Collaborated with another team designer to align on a cohesive color palette, fonts, and design style, ensuring a seamless flow between the pages created by both of us.
Reorganized the content to fit the new publication layout and assigned specific pages to each designer for completion.
Week 2: Design the Pages
The other designer and I each focused on our assigned layouts, with each of us handling about 14 pages of content.
With contributions from four different department leaders, the guide initially featured four distinct writing styles. We refined the content to ensure a more professional and cohesive tone.
I also reorganized the information to make it easier for members to quickly and efficiently find the programs they were interested in.
Week 3: Finalizing + Sending Out
We assembled and refined our pages to ensure a polished final product.
Before presenting the 28-page document to the country club leadership, we conducted an internal review with three team members to gather feedback.
Following a few minor updates based on the leadership's input, the document was published online and printed copies were made available to the leadership."
